Hi Dancers,

I guess it is officially Winter in McHenry County! The first snowfall is so beautiful. But I have no incentive to go out into it. It’s a good time to do my computer work, decorate for the holidays and cook. With my lethargic mood I will maybe get one or two of the chores done.

The November dance and auction was so much fun. Although the auction was a lot of work, the chapter netted almost $1,000. Most of all it was worth it to see the smiles of those leaving the dance with their auction treasures.
It was only possible because of all of the dedicated help we had from planning, to donations, the set up and break down of the event, and the help we had with the auction.

Thanks to John and Linda Troester, John and Elizabeth Fraccaro, Mary Condon, Lynn Turner, and Shari Lebbing. Thanks to these amazing ladies who compiled and decorated over 40 baskets: Cathy Medina, Gloria Biard, Eileen Cowell, and Heidi Klepitsch. Special thanks to Cathy Medina who helped deliver the baskets. Kudos to Gail Covenah who was a real soldier despite her foot surgery. She checked out and tallied all the baskets.
